Ever wonder why there's a buzz in Tobago during the Easter period?? 

Tobago is the place to be during the short two week break as visitors take advantage of the close proximity of the island, and its
 naturally relaxing environment.

Families and friends pack their visit with outings to various sites around the island like beaches, forts, waterfalls and the Rainforest. They enjoy recreational activities such as ATV rides, and jet skiing. They also look forward to the local food and confectionery such as Crab and Dumpling, Sugar Cake and Benne Ball

All roads lead to Buccoo on "Easter Tuesday" in Tobago for Buccoo Goat and Crab Races and other fun activities that take place in village such as free boat rides and horse back riding. 

There is always something to look forward to during the Easter Vacation in Tobago.

    I am loving the concept!! I highly suggest partnering with some local entrepreneurs to highlight "Tobago Talent" but, I can definitely see this page as my first choice for information. It's about time our history, events and culture is adequately and properly recorded. - Sarah

While we  are on the topic of Charlotteville.  I took this picture using my  phone's panoramic view on  my birthday last year :) This is Fort Campbellton,  Charlotteville, Tobago.  It must have been the perfect day because this picture is perfect. Fort Campbellton According to visittobago.gov.tt this is NOT a fort despite commonly being called "Fort Campbellton". It is in fact a Battery. Batteries were positioned in various bays where sugar was loaded on the island. This battery of two guns was erected in 1777 during the American War of Independence when American privateers were raiding British islands. Tobago's natural beauty and unique culture have helped to shape the character and a number of artwork pieces of Trinidad-born, Tobago-bred artist Nazim Baksh. Nazim moved to Louis Dor, Tobago when he was 6 years old. Living in “country”, as locals fondly call the rural Windward side of the island, has left him with a number of fond memories of life in the village and at Delaford AC Primary School. He has a very vivid recollection of a number of entertaining episodes of an exciting yet very simple life in the countryside. Having excelled at the Common Entrance examinations Nazim was awarded a pass to attend the prestigious Bishop’s High School located in the main town of Scarborough. To ease the burden of travelling the long distance he and his family relocated to urban Tobago. Therefore a variety of experiences spanning over 30 years of residing on the both ends of Tobago have afforded Nazim the opportunity to observe, share in, and depict Tobago’s culture vibrantly thro
